What kind of laser pointer should i get?

I am looking for a laser pointer to play with, recreational purposes only. I'm wanting a blue or green preferably that is strong enough for me to be able to see the beam of light, but not too strong to burn stuff. I have read many different things, all contradicting each other. 100mW, 50mW, 35mw? I dont know what power to buy. If anyone has any experience with laser pointers and could help me find what I want that would be awesome. I'm also wondering what brands are good, websites to find them, what color would be best, and also prices. I don't want to spend a ton on a laser, probably less than $100. thank you.
