Any external validation for the stories in the bible besides a few locations named?

i mean even the exodus- the parting of the sea ETC has been explained away through archaeology and science. so besides just sayung you believe, where is the actual proof. we have vision-dreams and alot written by one guy who was obviously mentally disturbed
