If Roman Catholicism was the first, original Church...?

There were churches all over the Middle East, clear up to Rome and these were before Catholicism and Popes existed, the Apostle Paul and others visited these often, so Catholics were not the first, original church. Believers are the Church according to the Bible. God bless.
