Is a Bachelor's degree not good enough anymore? *Science Degree*?

I'm interested in Geology or Archaeology, but I really don't want to go through graduate school. Will I be able to get a job easily in these fields with just 4 years? Will I be able to do any field work, or is that only for 4+ year people?
