Why does the Western World seek to cover up the obvious blackness of the ancient egyptian race?

They say they were mixed race. But that does not make sense since all archeology evidence says they were black. Now they are finally admitting a little, that modern Africans (epsecially west and central) are the descendants of the egyptians but they say it does not matter what they were. I would believe them if they sougth to rewrite the history books or at least add to the new one; but all is silence and most morden people still think the ancient egyptians as otherwise than Black African.
